Füssen and especially Bad Faulenbach is a hiker's paradise
Füssen is the main town of the "Allgäu Hiking Trilogy". Hiking in three altitudes: flat, hilly and in the mountains. Füssen is the hub for long-distance hiking trails. With us as Lechweg partner you experience the Lechweg - from the source to the fall.
Walk directly from our house, in the footsteps of King Ludwig II of Bavaria.
Neuschwanstein, Germany's most famous castle, outshines everything, but our region has much more to offer:
There are around 200 kilometers of well-maintained and well-signposted hiking trails in the Füssen area alone.
From the Forggensee over the Hopfensee to the Alatsee, which is the scene of an Allgäu crime novel with the detective Kluftinger.
The return route of the Alatsee circuit runs through the Faulenbach Valley, an idyllic landscape conservation area, which is the "Valley of the Senses" in the front part. Whether in the dark room, in the sound and herb garden, on the wet Kneipp meadow or on the balancing and barefoot path - here you can perceive nature sensually.
Your host Mr. Jakob will gladly take you on a guided hike through the "Valley of the Senses" or along the "Smuggler's Trail".
Füssen Tourism regularly offers guided hikes and mountain tours with all levels of difficulty See calendar of events Füssen

from the valley up to the summit giants or from above on the many lakes. From the bike into the bath! No matter which direction you take, the next bathing bay is never far.
You can also cycle in a relaxed manner with a tailwind from the power socket. An e-bike is not a replacement, but an environmentally friendly boost for your condition. This way you increase your radius and easily master even steeper passages.
There are several bike stations in the Füssen area where you can rent e-bikes by the day.
